Three month’s after Patagonia’s site redesign (which I was the junior designer on, but very sloppily did not document most work) I was tasked with redesigning the ecom shopping filters. The filters we launched with were housed in a full-screen modal and were not performing.

New filters are confusing–users prefer the placement on the side. There are some nice things about the new filters but this is overshadowed but the unexpected and inconvenient placement.
